From the rolling green hills of the Waikato to the crashing waves of the Tasman, our crags offer it all! The magical Waikato limestone is perfectly suited for all abilities and offers a wide range of styles to entertain all climbers, and non-climbers! Do I need experience?
No, experience rock climbing is not needed to participate and enjoy our Real Rock Climbing Experiences.
Some rock climbing experience is needed if you are wanting to take one of our Sport Climbing Lead course or Traditional Climbing Course.
What should I bring?
The most important is a great attitude! It’s best to check the weather for clothing recommendations, but always bringing a light rain jacket is a good idea!
Make sure to pack snacks, lunch, lots of water, and bring your climbing gear if you have it!
Otherwise no gear is necessary – we provide your climbing shoes, harness, helmet, atc belay device, rope, carabiners and all personal safety equipment required.
