Lovers Retreat

Start your weekend off right with a gorgeous breakfast from Orca, one of our favourite brekkie venues in town, which also boasts one of the nicest views in the area.

Following your lovely morning, we highly recommend a limestone kayaking adventure with Raglan Kayaks. You get to explore all the nooks and crannies of the stunning limestone formations on the coast while listening to some of the local stories. The 2-hour tour leaves you with enough time in the day for exploring the town and a late lunch at our personal favourite eatery, Rock it Kitchen. The cocktails go down a treat as well as their curated lunch menu!

If you are looking for an extra adventure, the sunset cruise onboard Wahine Moe is the ideal way to cap off your day. With a bar on board, soak up the afternoon sun, along with some fresh fish and chips. The local skipper is a treasure of information and will teach you everything you need to know about the harbour while you enjoy a spectacular west coast sunset.

After an active Saturday, sleep in; walk down to Raglan Roast for a morning coffee; and to round off your wonderful weekend, join us for a romantic excursion through our glow worm caves. Enjoy the calm tunnels while listening to our cave stories and finishing with a magical walk in the dark through the glow worms’ favourite spots!
